Photo Friday: Local Artists

In Madrid, as is so commonly seen in Paris, local artists sit in the open squares and paint canvases primarily purchased by tourists.  I love that they depict regional scenes and cultures, and found the brilliant colors of Spanish matadors and flamenco dancers fabulous.

  2. I love street artists too (and the ones that set up at farmers markets) - a small painting makes a perfect souvenir!

  3. I like how you captured the artists in Plaza Mayor and all their colorful art. I love peeking into street artists' work no matter where but especially in Europe. There weren't that many at the square during our visit but I sure wished I had enough room in my luggage for a few of these art pieces.
