“On the 12^th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me . . .”  What the heck are they talking about?  I know my kids have asked me more than once, “What are the 12 days of Christmas?”  Well, thanks to the research I do for this blog, I can now answer their questions. 

There are 12 days between December 25^th and January 6^th, which is the Feast of Three Kings and in many countries is the traditional end of Christmas celebrations.  Boy, we here in the U.S. need to get in the game!  Boxing Day, Three King’s Day, plus ten more days in between to party and celebrate!  Those Europeans sure know how to have fun.
