I've just been inspired by this glorious shot my uncle recently sent me to post about the lovely region of northern Lake Garda. What a vacation dream destination.

Ok so now Garda lake is on my list. Your site is dangerous lady! You keep making my bank account smaller as I dream about going to all these places I haven't been. I'm sending this post to my friend in Italy pronto so she can head that way.
Absolutely beautiful! Adding to the list too and the more I see of the lakes and seaside Italian towns, the more beautiful they are. This is so different from the Italy I've visited so far (Rome/Venice).
I've visited Lugano in Switzerlan and Como in northern Italy, but never the Garda Lake. Maybe I should stop there next time I drive south ...
